sports- the NCAA- WKU vs. Drake

Hey ya'll! It's Suz talking! My family and Emily's family are huge WKU fans! My mom and dad graduated from Western Kentucky, and I think maybe her parents did too! But anyway...
WKU, both men and women, won the Sunbelt confrence championship. So that automatically gets WKU a spot in the NCAA. But Western's men got cheated and were sent out to the Western US region for the tournament, even when WE won the confrence, and they let South Alabama take our spot in the east region, even when they didn't win the tournament... WE DID!!!!!!!!! But enough of my pouting...
For the first round, WKU men, seed 12, was playing #5 seed, Drake, from Iowa. I'll give you a quick recap:
The toppers have a 16 point lead at half time. I hope they can keep that up!!! Then, about 8 minutes before the game is over, Drake catches up to WKU! A couple seconds before the buzzer, Drake throws up a shot to tie the game. We go into overtime!!!! Well, in the 5 minutes of overtime, it is pretty equal... about a 2 point posesion, back and forth to the teams. Drake some-how is 1 point behind WKU. Ok...Ok. A CRAZY foul is called, causing A.J. Slaughter to foul out, and Drake gets to free throw shots because both teams are in the double bonus. A.J. was doing NOTHING when that foul was called!!!! I think they called it because he tripped or something! Oh boy! There is 5.2 seconds left in the game, and WKU has to make at least a 2 pointer to win. So.......
The ball is thrown in to #3. He dribbles up the court, not rushing, because he knows they have plenty of time to score. He sort of hands the ball to Ty Rogers, #5. Ty sets up, but is gaurded by 3 people! There is about 1 second left on the clock. He about 26 ft. away from the goal ,shoots the ball, and...........................
HE MAKES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go TY! He has won the game for WKU. Now all of the players and some assisstant coaches jump off the bench and huddle around Ty. They run around the court with 1 finger up, laughing, yelling, and definetly smiling! ☺☺☺ Ty will totally make the one shining moment video. The final score is WKU-101, Drake-99.
